Eyelid surgery work

The eyelid page describes upper and lower blepharoplasty tailored to restore the eye's original shape. During upper blepharoplasty the site states he "routinely removes the corrugator muscles" that cause central forehead frown lines and injects fat to fill the resulting crease. Lower blepharoplasty tightens muscle and removes skin and fat below the lash line or inside the eyelid, and can be combined with laser resurfacing (source). A separate section describes revision eyelid surgery to correct over-resected, hollow or sunken results, using fillers such as Restylane or fat to restore volume (same page).

The brow lift page describes an endoscopic procedure to remove or alter the muscles and tissue causing a furrowed, drooping brow (source).

  • The O'Daniel Eye page itself shows 16+ named eyelid before/after patients (upper, lower, and combined blepharoplasty, some with corrugator muscle resection) plus 3 revision-eyelid cases (source).
  • Eyelids (Blepharoplasty) case study category, filterable by age/gender, showing facelift-combined blepharoplasty cases (source).
  • The O'Daniel Browlift page shows brow lift before/after patients, several combined with upper/lower blepharoplasty (source).

Other procedures

The site's Face menu also covers facelift, neck lift, submandibular gland reduction, rhinoplasty ("The O'Daniel Nose") and lip lift ("The O'Daniel Lip"); Body covers breast augmentation/lift, mommy makeover and Emsculpt NEO; Skin Spa covers lasers and injectables (site navigation).

Insurance and cost

The practice site has no statements on insurance coverage or eyelid surgery prices.

Recovery, per the eyelid page: temporary post-op effects include puffiness, numbness, swelling, redness and watering eyes; patients should avoid heavy lifting for several days; full results may take up to a year given how sensitive the eye area is to swelling (source).
