Eyelid surgery work
The blepharoplasty page describes eyelid surgery on the upper lids, lower lids or both. Upper eyelid surgery is described for sagging lids and restoring the field of vision; lower eyelid surgery for bags under the eyes. The operation uses general anesthesia. Incisions are made in the natural folds of the eyelids, excess skin is removed, and fat is repositioned or removed.
The brow lift page describes a forehead lift under general anesthesia through incisions along the hairline, with other incision approaches possible when combined with other facial surgery. Skin and tissue are removed and tightened. The page states brow lift can be combined with facelift or blepharoplasty.
Galleries:
- Blepharoplasty: one upper blepharoplasty case, 8 months after surgery.
- Brow lift: two cases, one brow lift with upper and lower blepharoplasty and facelift at 18 months, one brow lift with upper blepharoplasty at 1 month.
The site has no page for ptosis repair, double eyelid surgery, canthoplasty or revision eyelid surgery. A separate cosmetic eye treatments page covers Latisse for eyelash growth (source).
Other procedures
The site lists facelift, neck lift, otoplasty, fat transfer, breast augmentation, lift, reduction and reconstruction, body contouring, and medical spa services including lasers, injectables and facials (source).
Insurance and cost
- The site publishes no eyelid surgery price; the cost is given at consultation, and financing is offered.
- The practice includes CosmetAssure with every cosmetic surgery; the site's CosmetAssure page describes it as complication insurance.
- The site says nothing about Medicare or health insurance coverage for eyelid surgery.
Recovery
From the blepharoplasty page:
- Bruising and swelling around the eyes are expected; blurred vision is common for the first few days.
- Time off work: about a week.
- Exercise: avoid strenuous activity for at least a few weeks.
- Results show as swelling and bruising fade, typically in about two weeks.
