- Upper blepharoplasty. A precise crescent of excess skin is marked and removed, with the incision hidden in the natural eyelid crease; often done under local anesthesia with light sedation (source).
- Lower blepharoplasty. Incision hidden just under the lash line or inside the lid; bulging fat is removed or repositioned and muscle tightened where needed (same page).
- Surgery takes one to two hours; performed as same-day (outpatient) surgery (same page).
Other procedures
Brow lift, facelift, and facial fat grafting are named as related procedures on the practice's page; the practice's broader procedure list also includes body and breast surgery and injectables, offered across the Tulsa Surgical Arts family (source).
Recovery
- Sutures out. Stitches come out at one week; most bruising fades enough for glasses and public life (source).
- Back to work. Many desk workers return at about one week, once stitches are out and bruising is coverable (same page).
- Exercise. Full exercise resumes at six weeks (same page).
- Bruising. Bruising blooms below the eyes in the first few days and can spread down the cheeks for a week or two (same page).
- Final result. Scars settle into the crease and lash line within months, effectively invisible; fine swelling keeps clearing for months (same page).
