Eyelid surgery work
The eyelid lift page describes:
- Upper eyelid lift with incisions placed in the natural eyelid crease, removing excess skin and bulging fat, under local anesthetic with or without IV sedation.
- Lower eyelid lift with incisions in natural creases, with eyelid and muscle tightening as needed.
- Transconjunctival blepharoplasty: fat removed through an incision inside the lower eyelid, with no external incision.
The eyelid lift gallery shows upper eyelid lift, lower eyelid bag removal, and combined upper/lower cases, with photos credited to Dr. Perrotta.
Other procedures
The practice's face page also lists brow lift, facelift, fat grafting, neck lift, otoplasty, rhinoplasty and buccal fat removal, offered generally by the practice rather than attributed to a specific surgeon.
Insurance and cost
The eyelid lift page states an upper eyelid lift may be covered by insurance if performed to improve vision, otherwise the patient is responsible for the cost. Lower blepharoplasty is described as cosmetic and not usually covered by insurance. No prices are published.
Recovery
Per the eyelid lift page: swelling and bruising subside within 2 to 3 weeks; patients typically return to work within two weeks; sutures are removed in 3 to 7 days or are self-dissolving.
