Eyelid surgery work
The eyelid lift page describes stretching of eyelid skin, fat, septum and muscle with age, giving a hooded upper lid and a puffy lower lid. It states the surgeons tailor one of several techniques to each patient, without naming them (source). The page names no individual surgeon.
The site has no before-and-after gallery and no pages for brow lift, ptosis repair, double eyelid surgery or canthoplasty.
Other procedures
The site lists facelift, rhinoplasty and fat transfer; breast augmentation, lift, reduction and reconstruction, including DIEP flap; tummy tuck, arm lift, labiaplasty and gynecomastia surgery; lower extremity reconstruction and scar revision (source). Skin and injectable care is provided with Connecticut Medical Aesthetics, next door at 8 Davis Road West (team).
Insurance and cost
- Lower blepharoplasty is "generally considered an aesthetic procedure." Upper blepharoplasty "can sometimes be covered by insurance" when an ophthalmologist or optometrist visual field test shows impaired vision (source).
- The practice charges $100 for an initial cosmetic consultation, applied to surgery booked within one year. A $1,000 non-refundable deposit secures a surgery date. No eyelid surgery prices are published (faqs).
