Eyelid surgery work
- Upper blepharoplasty. Redundant upper eyelid skin and any excess fat are removed. The incision is placed in the upper eyelid fold so the thin scar is hidden when the eye is open (source).
- Lower blepharoplasty. Excess lower eyelid skin and fat are removed to treat bags. Incisions are hidden just below the eyelashes or inside the lower eyelid (transconjunctival approach). Technique and incision placement are chosen at the examination.
- Brow lift. Performed in the operating room in about 1.5 hours, with same-day discharge. The brow is elevated and frown and forehead lines are softened, either endoscopically through small incisions or with an open technique, with the incision hidden in the hair or just in front of the hairline. Anesthesia is local, sedation or general (source).
- Gallery captions describe a lateral (temporal) brow lift through a short incision behind the hairline, with fixation reinforced by an absorbable Endotine ribbon, combined with upper blepharoplasty; and lower blepharoplasty removing protruding fat and excess skin.
Gallery: the brow lift and eyelid surgery page shows 28 patients (browlifteyelidsurgeryphotogallery). The site states before-and-after photos show Dr. Grigoryants' actual patients.
