Eyelid surgery work
The oculoplastics page states blepharoplasty/eyelid surgery "is a surgery to remove excess skin on the upper or lower eyelid area," and that if excess skin obstructs vision, the procedure "may improve the visual field obstruction and provide a more youthful and alert appearance" (oculoplastics). The same page describes ptosis (droopy eyelid caused by a weak or damaged eyelid-raising muscle), and related conditions: blepharospasm, ectropion and entropion. The bio page states Dr. Berbos' expertise covers the eyebrows, forehead, eyelids, orbit, lacrimal system, mid-face and lower face, including cosmetic surgery and non-surgical modalities (botulinum toxins, laser and chemical skin resurfacing, dermal fillers) in these areas (source). The practice site has no before-and-after eyelid photo gallery.
Other procedures
The oculoplastics page also lists enucleation, evisceration, dacryocystorhinostomy (DCR), treatment related to Graves Disease, Mohs surgery for skin cancer near the eyes, and orbital decompression surgery for Thyroid Eye Disease. The wider practice offers LASIK, PRK, cataract, glaucoma, retina, cornea and dry-eye specialties through other physicians (site menu).
