Eyelid surgery work
Dr. Long's own bio page does not describe eyelid surgery. The practice's eyelid-related pages are all attributed by name to Dr. Shim Ching, not Dr. Long:
- Eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty). Upper eyelid incision placed in the natural crease; lower eyelid fat removed or repositioned with incision hidden inside the lid or just below the lashes (source).
- Double eyelid (Asian eyelid) surgery. Incisional or suture/non-incisional method to create an upper eyelid crease; can combine epicanthoplasty and ptosis correction (source).
- Brow lift. Endoscopic technique, 5 small incisions within the hairline, reduces upper eyelid hooding (source).
Other procedures
The practice site lists breast, body and additional facial procedures under Dr. Ching; Dr. Long's own bio describes general plastic and reconstructive surgery, including post-mastectomy breast reconstruction (source).
Insurance and cost
No insurance, Medicare or eyelid-price statement on the site is attributed to Dr. Long. The site states generally: "we do not accept insurance for any procedures offered at our practice" (site contact form text).
